KARDOM (Axe) – specializes in archaeological excavations in addition to various archaeological services. KARDOM is the most experienced organization in Israel and has been executing archaeological salvage excavations longer than any other organization (other than the Israeli Antiquities Authority).
The archaeological excavations are conducted under the academic supervision of the Sonia and Marco Nadler Institute of Archaeology at the Tel Aviv University.

The Institute members of staff head some excavations, whereas in others, the institute staff acts as instructor and/or consulters. The archaeological excavation managers have a PhD degree or are highly experienced graduate students Knowledgeable in all aspects of archaeology.

Archaeological surveys and reports

KARDOM provides archaeological surveys, reports and expert opinions for master plans, urban building plans etc. The surveys and reports are provided by experienced archaeologists with the support of an architect and/or an engineer consultations, when needed.
